Every year, AbbVie across the globe makes volunteering the focus for a week of making possibilities real; mobilising our workforce for projects in their local communities. These activities include developing outdoor learning spaces for children, donating food supplies, preparing meals for the homeless, removing rubbish on local beaches and much more.
Patients at Heart
Patients at Heart is our year round UK employee volunteer programme supporting health and social care related charities around the UK. For us, it is an opportunity to learn from those experiences. Connecting with people living with disease changes the way we work - and the way we see ourselves - by keeping patients at the heart of what we do.

During the COVID19 pandemic, our employees also rolled up their sleeves to support their local communities. Many of our employees have been supporting their local vaccination centres and community support groups each week.
