My CLLife MMS Service terms of use

The following Terms of Use govern and apply to your use of MyCLLife MMS Service (the " MMS Service") controlled by AbbVie Ltd in the UK ("AbbVie") and delivered by a third-party MMS service provider. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this Service. By using this Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you disagree with these Terms of Use, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using this Service.

The MMS Service is operated by AbbVie. Opting into the MMS Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions. We may modify or cancel the MMS Service or any of its features without notice. We may also modify these terms at any time and your continued use of the MMS Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

AbbVie does not charge for the MMS Service, but AbbVie does not warrant that you will not be charged when you send a message in response. In such case, you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your network provider. Standard message and data rates may apply to each text message you send in connection with the Service. Please contact your mobile telephone carrier for pricing plans and information.


To opt-out and STOP receiving text messages, you can text MYCLLSTOP to 88222 at any time. You will then receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message.

Interruption of Service

The MMS Service should be available through your mobile device when the device is within the operating range of your mobile network provider. The MMS Service may not be available on all mobile devices, or through all mobile networks. Delivery of content to your mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions.

You understand and acknowledge that mobile network services are outside of AbbVie’s control, and AbbVie is not responsible or liable for issues arising therefrom, or the failure thereof, including, without limitation, technical, hardware, software, electronic, network, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, errors in transmission, traffic congestion, lost or unavailable network connections, telephone connections, wireless phone connections, website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed transmissions which may limit or restrict your ability to receive or send a message, including any injury or damage to your or any other person's mobile device relating to or resulting from participating in or using the MMS Service. If the MMS Service is not available within your intended location, you agree that your sole remedy is to cease using the MMS Service.

Your Mobile Telephone Number

You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. You agree to opt out of the Service and/or notify AbbVie immediately if you change, or cease being the regular user of, your mobile telephone number. You agree to indemnify AbbVie in full for all claims, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, related to, or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify AbbVie or opt-out of the Service if you if you change your telephone number, or cease being the regular user of the mobile telephone number.

The MMS service is intended for those living with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. To opt-in to the MMS Service, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom, eighteen (18) years of age or older and must be permitted to enroll the mobile phone number into the Service.


Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by AbbVie’s negligence, AbbVie, its vendors, their respective directors, employees and agents disclaim, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability for any loss or damage which may be suffered by any person, whether suffered directly, indirectly, immediately or consequentially, and whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise which arises out of, or in connection with: (i) use of, or inability to use, this Service; (ii) use of information or content from the Service; (iii) any other services provided through this Service; (iv) interception or unauthorised access to personal information submitted to this Service; (v) third-party claims, liability, damages or costs arising from your use of the MMS Service or from you providing us with a mobile telephone number that is not your own, and (vi) any decisions you make in consultation with an independent advisor or practitioner including, without limitation, the following categories of loss or damage: (a) loss or corruption of data; (b) loss of profits; (c) loss of anticipated savings and/or financial loss; (d) loss of business opportunity;(e) loss of goodwill; and (f) loss of reputation;


This MMS Service is only intended for use by UK residents.

To the extent that any provisions of these Terms of Use are held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, then such provisions shall be severed and deleted without affecting the enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use and your use of this MMS Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in England. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with this Service.
