Personal Data You Submit During Registration or in Response to
AbbVie collects Personal Data that you provide on AbbVie Services,
for example, through an enrolment form in order to register for AbbVie
programmes and services, if you have elected to receive information,
or, if appropriate marketing in relation to our products, or to
contact AbbVie customer service, or respond to AbbVie questionnaires

When you use AbbVie Services, we also may collect certain usage and
device data automatically as described below.
We may record the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of your computer
or other electronic device when you visit the AbbVie Services. An IP
address identifies the electronic device you use to access the Sites,
which allows us to maintain communication with your computer as you
move about AbbVie Services and to customise content.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
We also collect information about your use of AbbVie Services through
tracking technologies such as cookies and web beacons. A “cookie” is a
unique numeric code that is transferred to your computer to track your
interests and preferences and to recognise you as a return visitor. A
“Web beacon” is a transparent graphic image placed on a Web site,

Providing Programmes and Services You Request

Code, you may be provided with online advertisements of AbbVie
products and services on third-party websites and mobile services that
are tailored to you, for example, on the basis of information that you
provide to AbbVie or a third-party website you are visiting, or of
your browsing activity, purchases, or interests. These types of
tailored online advertisements may come through several sources,

take measures to protect your Personal Data to the extent
possible. We also reserve the right to use Personal Data to
investigate and prosecute users who violate our rules or who engage in

AbbVie does not knowingly collect or use any Personal Data directly
from children on AbbVie Services. We do not knowingly allow children
to order our products, to communicate with us, or to use any of our

AbbVie Ltd (”AbbVie” or ”we”) is an English biopharma company
which develops and markets pharmaceutical products and delivers
patient oriented solutions. AbbVie is part of a global group, focused
on developing leading treatments and innovations worldwide. At AbbVie,
we take great care in processing personal data in compliance with
applicable laws. We only collect and use the information necessary to
achieve the purposes described below. The data controller is AbbVie

Personal data that we collect about you and why
We may collect personal data about you from a variety of sources,

AbbVie may collect and use some or all of the following categories

qualifications and scientific activities (such as previous clinical
trial experience, and participation in past or pending research
studies with AbbVie and other companies), publication of academic or
scientific research and articles, and membership in associations and
financial details, such as payment-related information,
including tax identification number, transfers of value which may
include contributions to costs of educational events (such as
registration fees, travel and accommodation expenses) and fees for

Transfer Agreement with AbbVie Inc. and it affiliates, which
incorporates the EU model contract for data transfers to controllers,
which covers all personal data transfers between AbbVie affiliates
worldwide to ensure an adequate level of protection for any

Where AbbVie uses service providers that have access to personal
data, it requires such service providers to protect your data and to
process your personal data in accordance with our written instructions
and this data protection notice and for no other purpose. Any

that apply under EU data protection laws, including, where
appropriate, through the use of EU model contracts for data transfers
